SHAH ALAM - The irresponsible behaviour of some motorists and road users on the Kechau Tui, Lipis, Pahang route has irked

Abdul Rahman tweeted his displeasure over the uncivilised behaviour of these motorists who throw their trash at the side of the road after stopping to rest in the area.

He said these kind of behaviours are uncalled for especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

His Twitter thread garnered 804K views, 2,393 retweets, and 2,678 likes.

"I understand that many road users want to return to the East Coast using this route.

"Some people want to rest because of the long journey. But this is the view I can see every year. This was the latest picture taken.

"Is this the attitude we cultivate in our children? Keeping this house clean starts with ourselves, the upbringing of our parents, and it starts at home," Abdul Rahman tweeted. who is the Lipis member of Parliament explained.

Abdul Rahman who is also the Lipis Member of Parliament stressed in his tweet that maintaining cleanliness in public spaces should be a shared responsibility.

"I'm a little upset because there is no sense of responsibility to take care of cleanliness after Allah SWT has provided sustenance for us to eat and a place to rest," he stressed.

Meanwhile, he expressed his gratitude to the team from the Lipis District Works Department for doing the cleaning up work on the route.

"InshaAllah, the reward will be great. More than that, every good thing we do, no matter how small, will be rewarded by Allah SWT," he tweeted
