SHAH ALAM - Bersatu Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah has denied having anything to do with an individual named Roslizal Razali who is currently in police custody.

It follows allegations circulating on social media currently which linked him to Roslizal who is being investigated under Section 4(1) of the Sedition Act 1948, Section 505(c) of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications & Multimedia Act 1998.

"I strongly deny the allegations about providing financial support to this individual named Roslizal Razali or Datuk Arshad.

"I have nothing to do with what was reported or committed by the two of them.

"My lawyer has advised me to lodge a police report and take legal action against individuals who spread these accusations and false facts about this issue which aims to affect my reputation," he said in a statement on Facebook today.

The 46-year-old security guard was arrested last Wednesday for allegedly uploading tweets with racist comments on social media that could trigger public order issues.

But it was informed that the man had rented a condominium at Soho KLCC during the remand application.

Allegations arose as when the police questioned his financial means to rent the place, it was said that he had mention about receiving 'financial support' from Datuk Arshad who is working for Saifuddin.
