GOMBAK - Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah graces the World #QuranHour 2023 for the second time today held at its prime location Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Mosque, International Islamic University Malaysia.

She arrived at 11.45am to spend time and recite Surah Al-Insan, the chosen verse for this year’s edition, which lasted for an hour from noon to 1pm.

Last year, she attended World #QuranHour at TV AlHijrah studion on April 26.

Surah Al-Insan carries the theme Humanising the Ummah, an agenda to humanise oneself, family, community and nation.

Organised by Warisan Ummah Ikhlas Foundation, it said that the message was to humanise the ummah via recitation and comprehension of the Quran and be an effort to bring one’s family together into the heavens above, also known as Jannah.

“Together to Jannah”, a goal guided by surah, has two important points that needs to aligned within each and every human being.

Firstly, it is for our mental framework. According to Surah Al-Insan verse 1-2 said that to come to a realisation that humans are the slaves of Allah SWT.

Secondly, the self-operating system. Surah Al-Insan verse 3-23 stated that take to one’s heart the Quran as life guidance and morale compass.
