SHAH ALAM - The World Quran Hour 2023 organised by Warisan Ummah Ikhlas Foundation is set to take place at 12noon today for an hour, making a glorious comeback after three years post-pandemic.

This one-hour programme will run concurrently at a global scale at the prime location this year; the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) with a synergy from various media houses, government agencies, and the private sector.

With the main goal of encouraging society to interact with the holy Quran to read, understand, and apply it, communities can sit together to read and appreciate the Quran in conjunction with the hashtag #QuranHour programme.

For the year 2023, Surah Al-Insan has been chosen as the focal surah, carrying the theme humanising the ummah.

Join us live as we take time to recite and absorb the greatness of the Quran with 1,500 or so others at the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Mosque at IIUM live on all Sinar Daily platforms.
