SHAH ALAM - Actor Farid Kamil, 42, has apologised to his wife Diana Danielle and his mother-in-law Norsiah Ramli for alleging that there was a third party to destroy his 11-year old marriage.

Farid in an Instagram story on Tuesday said he has withdrawn the statement.

“I retract my statement on a question on a third-party when asked by reporters.

“I humbly apologise to my mother-in-law Norsiah Ramli and wife Diana Danielle,” he said.

Farid on Tuesday when interviewed by reporters at the court claimed he was shocked when his mother-in-law arrived with Diana to attend their court case.

Farid claimed Norsiah was asked to leave the house by Diana in 2019 and had cut ties with her mother.

He has apologised for this statement.

On March 28, Farid alleged that there was a third party involved in their marriage and this individual caused Diana to file for divorce early last month.

To save his marriage, Farid has asked for a reconciliation to the total of RM319,700 to persuade Diana to stay on.

The offer included a Toyota Vellfire worth RM225,000, jewellery worth RM10,700, advance alimony payment from March 2023 to June 2023 worth RM40,000 and Umrah ticket refunds that was supposed to be a gift turned into a debt of RM44,000.
