SHAH ALAM - Puspakom has taken the initiative to set up a campaign offering free voluntary vehicle inspections for all Karangkraf staff today at Karangkraf Complex.

The head of Puspakom Communications and Customer Service Department, Leong Pei Yee, said this campaign was also targeted to all drivers and private vehicle owners from April 10 to April 20, 2023, as one of the measures to ensure road safety for the upcoming festive season.

"The mobile service that we carried out today makes it easier for all Karangkraf staff to inspect their vehicles

"The voluntary vehicle inspection is focused on safety aspects such as checking brakes, sideslip, tyres, suspension, smoke, lights, the bottom and top of the vehicle, tinted mirrors, and more.

"In addition, we also provide this free inspection services at universities and shopping malls,” she explained.

Pei Yee added that Puspakom would like to remind the public, particularly the owners and drivers of private vehicles who want to return to their hometowns and villages this holiday season, to ensure that their vehicles are in the best possible condition before beginning their journey.

Meanwhile, Puspakom's Chief Executive Officer, Mohammed Shukor Ismail, said that this free inspection campaign, in conjunction with the Aidilfitri celebration, aims to help vehicle owners know the condition of their vehicles through inspections using Puspakom's computerised equipment, which they can then use as a reference to carry out appropriate maintenance.

All you can do is just walk-in at any Puspakom branch nationwide (except Shah Alam, Taman Bukit Maluri, and Pasir Gudang branches) from 8 am to 5 pm.

The Mobile Inspection Unit offers free inspections at several selected locations, including Wisma DRB-HICOM (April 11), MMU Cyberjaya - staff only (April 11), Setia Alam Impian (April 15), and Lotu’s Ara Damansara (April 19).
