SHAH ALAM - Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail says that he is still not satisfied with the current measures taken to overcome the scammer issue, who are becoming a serious threat to the nation.

However, he gave his commitment and guaranteed that serious efforts will be made towards solving this issue.

"Scammers are a new threat to the country, causing major losses.

"Are we satisfied with our capabilities of overcoming and curbing these acts? We have never been satisfied with what we are doing.

"We know that these scammers constantly change and come up with creative patterns," he said in the People’s Town Hall session organised by Sinar Harian held at Kumpulan Karangkraf on Monday.

He added that, with the expertise of the police, he is confident that the scammer issues can be overcome one step at a time.

"With the police expertise, we will be able to investigate their patterns and how they trap victims.

"I can guarantee that through my involvement with the police, I'm confident in their professionalism in solving the matter," he said.
