Andi Muhammad was still in the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and was appointed as Sabah Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship Assistant Minister.
On Feb 21, four assemblymen, including James, Mohd Arsad, and Jasnih, announced their departure from the party and joined the Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat).
