KAJANG - Firemen successfully rescue a four-year-old child trapped in a locked vehicle in Jalan Cheras Lama, Kampung Sungai Raya, here, on today.
Selangor Malaysian fire and rescue department (JBPM) director Morni Mamat said he received a distress call at 7.38am.
"Six personnel and officers along with machineries from Tun Hussein Onn Fire Station rushed onto the scene," he said in a statement on Tuesday.
Morni said the child was found trapped in a locked Perodua Myvi vehicle when they arrived at the scene.
"The firemen immediately opened the vehicle door using special equipment.
"It took almost 20 minutes to open the door and the child was reunited with her family," Morni said.
