'The children wanted to wear black baju raya' - Mother
MUAR - The mother of four siblings who died in a house fire in Kampung Sabak Awor was sad that she could not fulfill her children's wishes to wear black "baju raya".
Nabila Sedu, 31, was seen kissing one of her child's kindergarten shirt at the vicinity of the forensics room at the Sultanah Fatimah Muar Specialist Hospital with her husband Thein Ko Htut, 30.
She said her children told her that they wanted to wear black colour "baju raya" on the first day of Syawal (first Hari Raya Aidilfitri).
"The children told me that they wanted to wear black baju raya," she said.
The couple did not comment further and left the area in a hurry.
Nabila and her husband, who is a Myanmar national, lived in Muar for the past four years and the latter worked here as a restaurant assistant.
It was reported that the four siblings; two boys and two girls, died in a house fire in Jalan Ismail, Kampung Sabak Awor, at about 7.49pm yesterday.
The siblings who were Fatihah Aisyah, 3, Mustakim, 4, Mohd Hakim, 6, and Puteri Aisyah Tenko, 8, died in the incident.
