PUTRAJAYA - Pakatan Harapan (PH) and BN have reached an agreement about the parameters for the state election seat allocations.

PH chief secretary Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said during the negotiations that the seat allocation formula has been made but has yet to be completed.

"It requires several more series of negotiations as it can’t be done in one sitting," he said in a dialogue session with the Home Ministry, here, on Wednesday.

Saifuddin said BN’s decision to use their own logo in the six state elections was known by the unity government consultative council.

"The matter was discussed informally between both coalition leaderships," he said.

Saifuddin explained that the aspect of using their logos was within the domain of their respective political coalitions, as the unity government does not have its own logo at the moment.

"PH has their own logo, and so does BN. In that context, it is up to the BN chairman to decide the domain.

"Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has informed it informally; we have met almost daily, and we have discussed several matters, including this.

"It is within the realm of my knowledge because we have talked, met in Parliament, asked about Kedah’s reception, Penang, or regarding Malay voters," he said.
