Party with the new generation of Lego friends!
They are Nova, Liann, Aliya, Olly, Leo, Autumn, and Paisley.
The new generation comes a decade on from the launch of Lego friends, and this new generation is designed to celebrate diverse friendships in the modern world.
Making friends is not a walk in the park for everyone, so Lego has found new creative ways to present characters that children can relate to and feel represented.
In the new universe of characters, the characters come in various skin tones, cultures, and physical and non-visible disabilities.
Recently the characters have been introduced at Legoland Malaysia Resort. Up until April 9, the “friends” are throwing a party with activities to celebrate diverse friendships in the modern world.
“Children today face a host of modern challenges, passions, obstacles, and differences while trying to understand the world around them and create new lasting friendships.
“We hope to give parents and kids more tools to navigate friendships and their emotions as they grow and learn about the world around them,” said Legoland Malaysia Resort Divisional Director, CS Lim.
During the Lego Friends Party, guests can get acquainted with the characters through activities based on their passions and diverse interests.
For example, you can learn to save the planet with Autumn’s Save the Planet activity or they can build their own adorable Lego animals with Autumn’s Build-An-Animal-Party.
If you’re a fan of music, you should head to Paisley’s Booth to try and play a catchy tune.
If you’re into building things, test out your building skills with Nova through Nova’s Speed Building Challenge.
Looking to express yourself through art? Head over to Liann’s Fun with Art booth. Meanwhile, fashionistas can dress up and strike a pose at Olly’s Photo Studio.
