KAJANG - A Myanmar man was injured after driving into a two lorry collision at Sungai Long Toll Plaza, Kajang Dispersal Link (Silk) Expressway here, on Thursday.

The 27-year-old victim was driving a Mitsubishi lorry and crashed into a lorry at the scene.

Selangor Malaysia Fire and Rescue Department director Morni Mamat said he received the call regarding the accident at 12.12pm.

“ The Semenyih Fire and Rescue station personnel were rushed to the scene and arrived at 12.40pm.

“The Myanmar citizen was the driver and had been stuck at the driver’s seat,” he said in a statement on Thursday.

He said the firemen then began rescue operations to get the victim out.

“The firemen took roughly 20 minutes to remove the victim.

“The victim suffered leg and head injuries and was given to a Health Ministry officer for further action,” he said.
