SHAH ALAM - Following the success of its first session, Sinar Harian's Townhall Rakyat will return with its second session featuring Transport Minister Anthony Loke on Monday.

Sinar Karangkraf Media Group Head of Marketing Nik Justin Nik Mohd Ariffin said the programme will start at 8.30pm and will be broadcasted at Dewan Kompleks Kumpulan Karangkraf at Seksyen 15, here.

He said the people can ask Loke directly about the government's measures to improve public transport service that has been a hot topic on every social media platform.

"This second session is held based on positive reactions and encouraging requests from residents' associations and communities.

"We will organise the second session of Townhall Rakyat two weeks after its first session and we expect more viewers to attend the session.

"The focus of the discussion is on public transport issues, so the people can understand better when they receive direct answer from the minister," he told Sinar on Tuesday.

He added that the platform provides an opportunity for the community and industry players such as e-hailing services to unravel issues, in addition to getting the chance to listen to the measures that have been planned to improve the transport service system.

Nik Justin said the Townhall Rakyat second session is an important platform to discuss the direction of the public transport system as it is a crucial industry that contributes to the country's economy.

"We want to listen to the government's actions to improve the public transport services," he said.

Nik Justin added that Sinar Karangkraf welcomes all parties who want to enliven the Townhall second session.

"Let us together empower the transport economy," he said.

Sinar Harian, last Wednesday, reported that Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil had attended Townhall Rakyat programme hosted by famous actor Azhar Sulaiman held at Kumpulan Karangkraf, Shah Alam.
