PH-Umno is still an experiment, but will it work?

SHAH ALAM - Former Umno information chief Shahril Hamdan labels the combination of Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Umno as an experiment.
In Sinar Daily and Shahril Hamdan’s podcast Along The Watch Tower that will be aired soon, he said both parties have not worked together and have been at each other's throat for decades.
"With the glue that exists between two party leaders and the people around them, can it go down deeper (beyond personalities)," he said.
"Do we get to a point where PH and Barisan Nasional (BN) actually have a strong understanding that they go into the election as a coalition even if they are not formed officialy?" he added.
He said that if something like that were to happen then the coalition is not an experiment anymore.
"It becomes a new coalition," he said.
