Nurulhidayah claims ethical violation in Wanita Umno division election

SHAH ALAM - Umno president's daughter Datuk Nurulhidayah Ahmad Zahid claims there was an ethical violation during the selection process for Bagan Datuk Umno Wanita chief on Saturday.
Nurulhidayah who lost the Umno Wanita Bagan Datuk division election on Saturday said there was a violation involving Article 4, Umno 2023 Election Code of Conduct related to undue influence.
"There was WhatsApp on the night of the March 10 election from an identified person. Manipulation, deception, incitement and harassment," she added.
"My fight is not over. I haven't lost or won yet.
"I received 115 out of 268 votes, and my opponent 'still winning' with 133 out of 268. The issue has been brought to Umno Election Committee," she said via Instagram.
On Saturday, Nurulhidayah lost the Bagan Datuk Umno Wanita post. She was defeated by incumbent Zarozatin Isa.
Based on the screenshot attached with the statement, which is believed to be a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation.
It contains an instruction asking the Wanita Umno representatives in that division to support the incumbent, Zarozatin Isa.
