KUALA LUMPUR - Bersatu Armada chief Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal has announced he will not be retaining his position in the upcoming party elections.

The Machang MP stated he was no longer at an eligible age to lead the party's youth wing.

"This Armada Annual General Assembly will be my last. I will graduate (and step forward) to the next phase.

"I will leave Armada to the delegates to continue the future battles," he said when delivering the policy speech for the Armada Annual General Assembly, here, on Saturday.

He said the party election scheduled in October will decide the candidate that will replace him.

Wan Ahmad Fayhsal was chosen as Armada chief in the party elections in August 2020.

He won against the then Armada executive committee member Muzzammil Ismail.
