KUALA LUMPUR - The Srikandi wing of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) has set up a fund called 'hibah Abah' as a sign of solidarity for Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

The donations were collected among the 450 delegates who attended the Srikandi Bersatu Malaysia Annual General Assembly 2022.

The fund is to support the party and Muhyiddin, who was charged in court with abuse of power.

The former prime minister has pleaded not guilty in two separate Sessions Courts on Friday to six charges of abuse of power for bribes amounting to RM232.5 million and money laundering amounting to RM195 million, between 2020 to 2022.

Muhyiddin was released on bail of RM2 million with two sureties, who are his two sons, at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court.
