KUALA LUMPUR - A Nissan Sentra driven by a man under the influence of drugs caused a three-vehicle collision at Jalan Ipoh, Batu 5, towards Batu Muda, here on Friday.

Sentul district police chief Assistant Commissioner Beh Eng Lai said in the 12.30pm incident, the 25-year-old man lost consciousness and crashed into a lorry.

"The crash caused the lorry to hit a motorcycle on the same lane, causing the rider to fall," he said in a statement on Sunday.

However, he said no injuries were sustained in the accident.

"Traffic police who arrived on the scene found the Nissan Sentra driver and the 32-year-old passenger unconscious.

"Both individuals were brought to the Kuala Lumpur traffic police station, and they tested positive for methamphetamine, ketamine, benzo (erimine 5), amphetamine, and cannabis (THC).

"Both individuals were arrested and investigated by the Dang Wangi police headquarters," he said.

Beh requested that the public, with any information regarding the incident, contact the Jalan Tun HS Lee traffic police station at 03-20719999, the Kuala Lumpur police hotline at 03-20260267/69, or any nearby police stations.
