'Anwar's government is inclusive' - Sungai Petani MP

SHAH ALAM - Sungai Petani member of parliament (MP) Dr Mohammed Taufiq Johari says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's government is inclusive with the intention of bringing the nation towards the Madani concept.
"What I can say is that he has extraordinary determination in achieving what he desires.
"For example, he rushed towards Parliament to table his work report even though he just returned from Turkey," he told Sinar Ahad.
Taufiq viewed the Tambun MP-led government as having given many positive feedbacks towards the country’s economy.
He added that the performance shown by each ministry was satisfactory, and there were improvements on the economic index.
"We can see that they are making strides towards it even though the results achieved were not 100 per cent satisfactory," he explained.
He said the current government administration shows concern for the problems faced by the people.
"I think the efforts taken by the ministry to introduce the Rahmah Menu is a praiseworthy effort.
"Other examples included the landslide incident in Batang Kali, where the government acted immediately in channelling aid to families of victims and finding ways to overcome the issue, as shown by the quick efforts and cooperation between ministries," he added.
