KUALA TERENGGANU - A video recording showing an individual believed to be Terengganu Women, Family and Community Development Committee exco Hanafiah Mat allegedly mocking a meal said to be Menu Rahmah, went viral on social media yesterday.

In the video, Hanafiah was seen eating the dish complaining about how there were few vegetables and no gravy.

"One fish, little vegetables and no kuah (gravy) .. this is the kuah (while pouring orange juice on to the rice). Now you can taste it," he said in the video.

The 18-second video is currently circulating on social media and had sparked various reactions from netizens.

Some people think that the Chukai state assemblyman had simultaneously insulted the meal or rezeki (sustenance) while belittling the Menu Rahmah.

However, the original video believed to have been uploaded on the leader's Tik Tok account had been deleted.

Sinar, at the moment, could not contact Hanafiah for an explanation.

Menu Rahmah is the government's latest initiative to help reduce the people's cost of living especially the needy, to buy a balanced meal at a price of RM5 or less.
