Cops on lookout for p-hailing rider for kicking Nepali guard
KAJANG - The p-hailing driver who kicked a Nepalese security guard at Taman Bukit Meringin, Sungai Ramal here is currently being tracked by the police for further investigation on the incident.
Kajang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zaid Hassan said they had received a report related to the incident on Feb 24 at about 6.30pm by the victim's supervisor.
“From the investigation, it was found that the incident was caused by the suspect’s dissatisfaction with the victim for not allowing him to enter the housing area.
"The suspect became angry after being informed that the house he wanted to go to was empty and uninhabited, resulting in the suspect kicking the victim's stomach," he said in a statement, today.
He said several individuals who were at the scene had witnessed the incident.
"In addition, the suspect's actions were also recorded through the dashboard camera of a car believed to be a resident of the housing area.
The Criminal Investigation Division, IPD Kajang is now tracking the suspect to assist in the investigation. The case is being investigated under the Section 323/506 of the Penal Code, he added.
