SHAH ALAM - A public survey have listed 10 ministers people were most satisfied with in conjunction with the 100 days of Unity Government and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The survey, which involved 35,077 participants, was conducted by the O2 Malaysia research firm in collaboration with five mainstream media namely Sinar Harian, Awani, The Star, Sin Chew and Malaysia Namban for 10 days from Feb 6 to 16.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke leads the pack as the minister people were most satisfied with a rating of 49 per cent followed by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who is also the Finance Minister, with a rating of 40 per cent.

Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh was placed third at 39 per cent, followed closely by Local Government Development Minister Nga Kor Ming who was rated 34 per cent, Minister in Prime Minister's Departments (Law and Institutional Reform) Datuk Seri Azalina Othman came in fifth and was rated at 33 per cent.

The other five ministers were Communication and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil who received a rating of 30 per cent; followed by Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohammad Sabu (28 per cent); Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub (27 per cent), while International Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz and Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek got 26 per cent each respectively.

The recorded percentage of the survey was based on a score rating with one being least satisfied and five being very satisfied.

The survey was aimed to gather the sentiments of the people in terms of performance and popularity of the unity government administration post 15th General Election (GE15) and their 100 days of governance.

Anwar was sworn in as the 10th prime minister on Nov 24, 2022 post-GE15 and leads the Unity Government comprising his coalition Pakatan Harapan as well as Barisan Nasional and East Malaysia’s Gabungan Parti Sarawak, Gabungan Rakyat Sabah and Warisan.
