SHAH ALAM - Renowned academician and Islamic scholar Emeritus Professor Tan Sri Dr Mohd Kamal Hassan has died today.
He died due to complications related to a recent surgical procedure.
The jenazah prayers will be held at Surau Al-Mawaddah in Bandar Baru Bangi this morning and proceed to Tanah Perkuburan Islam Bandar Baru Bangi, Sungai Tangkas for the funeral.
This was shared by his family in a statement early this morning.
His eldest son Ahmad Hafiz Mohd Kamal had also shared Kamal’s will before the second surgery where he stated that if he dies, this was part of Allah’s Qadha and Qadar (fate).
He wrote a four point note on how his funeral processes should be carried out.
