MELAKA - Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali hopes that the state government’s request for allocation on traffic dispersal system and education in the 2023 Budget will be approved by the federal government.
He said it was important to implement several traffic dispersal systems to ensure smoother traffic flow in the state as Melaka is a tourist destination.
"Now, with post COVID-19, tourists are back in Melaka. We need to disperse traffic flow, we have put forward several proposals to the federal government for consideration.
"Similarly with education, some schools must be given immediate attention following slope failure, especially at Sekolah Menengah Sains Muzaffar Syah," he told reporters.
Sulaiman was checking up on students sitting for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations at SMK Bukit Baru, here today.
