'How dare you laugh when you don't have kids in school', Naz asks Dr Jason
SHAH ALAM - Television host and actor Nazrudin Rahman, famously known as Naz, has condemned comedian Dr Jason Leong for laughing at the education minister’s statement.
In a series of posts on Twitter, Naz criticised Jason's tweet, saying that the latter should have reserved his comments over the matter as he does not have kids in school.
"Parents are dusting off their algebra for KBAT as early as standard four. The curriculum isn’t the problem," Naz wrote.
"If you don’t take the time to dissect your material, kindly keep the comedy to yourself," he added.
Naz also said that he is tired of seeing people putting down the hard work of educators and schools which have sacrificed so much to provide world-class education for the students.
"You never attended the parents and teachers meetings yet you got the audacity to laugh?" Naz questioned Jason.
"No need to laugh; next time we meet, I will remind you of this disappointing comment of yours," he wrote.
"You have lost the right to hide your ignorance behind your comedy. We both know this is not funny at all," he added.
Naz was commenting on Jason's tweet, where he laughed at the Education Minister's statement saying that Malaysia's education curriculum is on par with Singapore and Japan.
Dr Jason Leong's tweet has received backlash from netizens on Twitter.
