Sift & Pick opens first store in Malaysia

Luxury handbags are a sought-after investment commodity but the industry has paved the way for lesser-known labels to attain cult status too.

Online shops that offer luxurious but within-your-reach handbag brands are a dime a dozen, but one that has amassed a large pool of customers in Malaysia is Sift & Pick.

Sift & Pick, a company established in Singapore carries under-the-radar designer bags from all over the world.

From its online platform, the brand has expanded its reach, opening brick-and-mortar stores in Singapore.

Now the company has marked its first foray into Malaysia with the launch of its very first store in Midvalley Megamall.

Some notable brands worth checking out at the store are Marhen.J, Find Kapoor, Heureux, Joseph and Stacey, in addition to emerging favourite from Singapore and Thailand such as The Sophia Label and Tathata.

These brands offer bags in the form of crossbody, classics, totes, and more.

“Online shopping has absolutely become a daily part of our lives. However, one can never deny the allure of shopping at a physical store in real life, where you can see the actual product before purchase,” said Sift & Pick General Manager, Anne Jivananta.

“This provides for a more confident purchase decision, while they explore the many bag styles and options we’ve curated for our Malaysian customers.

To mark the opening of its first store in Malaysia, the store offers the limited edition Marhen.J Ricky Multi-way SE Backpack in Khaki, only available at its Mid Valley Megamall store, as part of its exclusive capsule collection with the renowned South Korean brand.
