KOTA KINABALU - Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) will back Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor as Sabah chief minister.

Its president Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup said PBRS will cooperate on developing Sabah unity government's agenda.

"Our support remains and will not change since he (Hajiji) has been given the mandate to lead Sabah administration in 2020.

"This stance is a manifestation of the chief minister's excellent leadership in ensuring political stability and unity in Sabah," he said in a statement, today.

The Pensiangan MP said the current priority was to ensure Sabah's economic growth and development agendas continue to be effective, including ensuring the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) issues are solved.

Barisan Nasional has stated their support for Hajiji's leadership in the Sabah government.
