SHAH ALAM - DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang will be posing several questions to the Opposition leader at the Parliament, tomorrow.

Lim who is the former Iskandar Puteri member of parliament (MP), will be asking why Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin is being appointed as the Opposition leader and not Tan Sri Hadi Awang or Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

"The second question is, will the Opposition the Parliament as a platform to spread political fraud, defamation, fake news, racial and religious sentiments, and will they repeat calling DAP anti-Malay, anti-Islamic, anti-communist, and promoting Islamophobia?" he asked in a statement earlier.

For the third question, he will ask if the Opposition will give their full support to measures to promote good governance.

"The fourth question would be whether the 15th Parliament session be used by the Opposition to primarily foment another Sheraton Move political conspiracy to topple the Anwar government and usher in a third "back-door" government.

Hamzah’s inaugural speech at the Royal debate would mark the priorities of the Opposition, whether the Opposition bloc would give importance to the national priority over the coalition's priority and join hands with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to unite the people.

"It is also an acid test whether the 74-MP Opposition bloc can be a trusted and loyal opposition to support Anwar's unity government to end the very polarised ethnic and religious relations in Malaysia.

"Also give a new meaning to "Unity in Diversity" from the various ethnicities, religions and cultures that meet in confluence in Malaysia by deepening the understanding of Malaysians in the five nation-building principles of Rukun Negara," he said.
