SEREMBAN - Budget meal "Menu Rahmah" is only beneficial for Malaysians, including those less fortunate to have a complete meal, says Deputy Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Senator Fuziah Salleh.

"Our ministry has introduced Menu Rahmah which comprises of a balance meal for lunch or dinner at a cost of RM 5 and below.

"Our target is for families to have a balanced meal at a fair price," she told Sinar Daily at the International Conference on Palestine Kuala Lumpur 2023 ( ICPKL) at the Royal Chulan Hotel, Seremban, today.

Speaking about whether there is any movement from the ministry to introduce "Menu Rahmah" to refugees, she said that this will not benefit only Malaysians, but everyone.

"I urge as many people and as many business people to be part of this initiative because "Rahmah" is love; it means "kasih sayang."

Fuziah also added that she will be involved in this project.

"Together, we heal our nation."
