Khairuddin
MN supreme council member Datuk Seri Khairuddin Abu Hassan said the discussion is expected to take place next week and was set up base on collaboration and understanding between the two NGOs.
"We want to find a formula for Malay unification as GTA is also a combination of political parties and Malay NGOs as well as individuals," he told reporters after Wacana Muafakat Nasional programme.
Three other panel members were MN chairman Tan Sri Annuar Musa; Seranta Islamic Development, Dakwah, Information and Regional Relations exco Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud and preacher and independent speaker Professor Dr Mohd Ridhuan Tee Abdullah.
Khairuddin said the meeting was suitable for GTA and MN as both NGOs had build a unifying platform rather than a political party.
He added that Dr Mahathir has given full support to Annuar to organise the meeting.
"Dr Mahathir has told the Malays that they need to sit at the same table and discuss unity.
"We hope all Malays unite including Umno members, but we reject the court cluster as they need to clear their names first," he said.
