Ramasamy's 'cheap publicity' will trouble PH - Sany
SHAH ALAM - Hulu Langat member of parliament Mohd Sany Hamzan describes Penang Deputy Prime Minister II Dr P Ramasamy's statement as a 'cheap publicity stunt' that will cause trouble in Pakatan Harapan (PH).
"Ramasamy is looking for trouble again and is attempting to become the hero of his race by causing trouble in PH with this cheap publicity stunt.
"This statement was an attempt to sabotage the Malaysia Madani concept introduced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar.
"I think it is not right for any Malaysians to make such a statement as it would harm the peace and harmony between races," Sany said in a statement on Saturday.
It was reported that Ramasamy has urged Anwar to reform the civil service, saying the sector is currently dominated by the Malays due to what he said were policies implemented by former leader Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
He said the old argument in favour of the Malays to balance the economic dominance of the Chinese is no longer applicable.
Sany also said DAP is feeling pressured by Ramasamy's statement and should immediately take action against him.
