What's good at Splashmania?
The new waterpark located at Bandar Gamuda Cove in Banting, Selangor promises visitors a splashing good time.
Its strategic location about 40 minutes from Kuala Lumpur offers 39 exhilarating slides and attractions and first-of-its-kind waterslide experiences in Malaysia.
Sinar Daily got a preview of the park last week, and we got to try a handful of slides and attractions at the park.
Here are the three must-try rides at Splashmania!
THE PLUNGE
For you adrenaline junkies out there, this slide is for you!
It's a steep slide and definitely not for the fainthearted. Plummet down a single flume at an incredibly high speed until you reach the bottom - we think this was one of the best attractions. w
SURF MANIA
If you've had enough of the 39 slides, grab a surfboard and head over to Surf Mania.
It is a body surfing activity with rocky and high-speed waves. With the instructor on standby to give you a complete tutorial, by the end of the session, you ought to be a surfer.
MANIAC RACERS
This colourful slide is an amazing challenge to try with your family and friends to see who is the fastest to slide down and there is a timer to record who crosses the finish line first.
Rest assured, there are lifeguards who are ready to provide assistance if anything goes awry.
The Splashmania Waterpark is open from 10am to 6pm everyday except Tuesdays.
