KUALA LUMPUR - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrives at Umno headquarters, Menara Dato' Onn here after 25 years.

Over two decades since the "Reformasi Movement" in 1998, Anwar has returned to the building to chair the Unity Government's first seretariat meeting.

He arrived at 7.40pm.

Leaders from both Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) have all congregated under the banner of the Unity Government for the meeting scheduled for 8.30pm.

The Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) secretary-general Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi, and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof were also seen at Menara Dato Onn.

Other notables are DAP’s secretary-general Anthony Loke; Amanah President Mohamad Sabu; and MIC President Tan Sri Vigneswaran, who have also arrived here.

It was reported that the meeting tonight will discuss the implementation of the manifesto and pledges of the coalition parties in the unity government.
