Siti Nurhaliza apologises for cancelling performance at the last minute

SHAH ALAM - Siti Aafiyah Khalid, the eldest daughter of renowned singer Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza underwent a surgery at a private medical centre today after falling off her scooter.

Siti Nurhaliza through her Instagram stories: "My daughter had fallen off her scooter and is in the operating theatre (OT). Prayers for her procedures to be eased."

Siti shared a video on Instagram showing herself reassuring her daughter before the procedure.

She also expressed gratitude towards the doctors after the surgery had gone off without a hitch.

“Alhamdulillah the process in the OT went smoothly. I would like to thank the specialist in the hospital. Insya-Allah Aafiyah will recover soon. Amin ya rabb.

“This video was taken before Aafiyah entered the OT while I was reassuring her,” she wrote.

Siti further apologised for cancelling her performance at the last minute following her daughter's accident.

“I am sorry for those who were affected by my performance cancellation because of my child’s accident.

Siti also thanked Her Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandaria and fellow artists and fans who prayed for Aafiyah’s recovery.
