KUALA TERENGGANU - Pas is ready to cooperate with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC)'s investigation into the allegation that voters received money to vote for Pas in the 15th General Election (GE15).

Pas vice president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar said the party is transparent and ready to cooperate, not only with MACC but also other government bodies involved in the investigation.

The Terengganu Menteri Besar, however, said no Pas leaders in the state had been summoned by MACC as of now, to testify in the investigation.

"I am not sure (about the cash-for-votes investigation) and who is called by MACC, but I believe MACC will conduct the investigation transparently," he said to the reporters after attending the Terengganu State Islamic Education Convention at taman Tamadun Islam (TTI) here on Thursday.

On Thursday, Sinar Harian reported that MACC had identified 90 individuals who allegedly received cash to vote for a party during the 15th General Election (GE15) in Terengganu.

MACC chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki has confirmed it.

"Investigation is in progress, and we have identified 90 individuals who received money for voting purposes," he said on Thursday.

Previously, video of people queuing, believed to be waiting for payment from a political party, went viral.

It was understood that the man who gave out cash in the video has also been called in for questioning.
