PKR Kedah plans its strategy to face the state elections

SUNGAI PETANI - The Kedah PKR machinery has given its full commitment to face the state elections this year.

State Leadership Council chief Nor Azrina Surip said several sharing sessions among researchers had been conducted to gauge voter's perception among the various races.

"We have had several sharing sessions with researchers based on the 15th general election (GE15), our sessions have been summarised in the form of strategic planning to face the upcoming state elections.

"The state election formation has also been formed as a measure to prepare for the state elections," she said while attending a meeting at a hotel here on Saturday.

Also present were was PKR vice-president and chairman for Kedah, Perlis and Penang, Nurul Izzah Anwar.

Azrina said the party has also emphasised to its members that there is no easy way towards winning an election but through patience and confidence more success will come.

"The formation of the Unity Government and Madani concept is an advantage in the foundation of rebuilding the country through individuals, communities, institutions and the whole society in general," she said.

Six states will face state elections this year, namely Kedah, Terengganu, Kelantan, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Penang as the State Legislative Assembly's for all those states will be dissolved between June and August this year.
