269 new Covid cases, no deaths

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia recorded 269 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday with three imported cases, bringing the total number of cases to 5,036,140.

There were no deaths reported, said the Health Ministry through KKMNow portal.

The total number of deaths in the country are now at 36,940 since the pandemic began.

The total recoveries recorded on Sunday were 285 cases bringing the total to 4,989,720 cases.

The current active number of Covid-19 cases are 9,480 with 9,088 or 95.9 percent undergoing home quaratine.
