KUALA LUMPUR - Police have called aids to two Pakatan Harapan leaders to record their statement on a Twitter post claiming Umno Youth caused disturbance at a talk held by Muda last October.

They are Noor Suhana Ishak and Farhan Iqbal.

Suhana, the assistant to Bentong MP Young Sefura Othman said she was called to the Sentul District Police Headquarters (IPD) while Farhan, the press secretary to Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli was called to Putrajaya to give their statement tomorrow.

“I have received a call from the investigations officer to record a statement at Sentul IPD at 2pm, Thursday.

“Farhan is called to Putrajaya IPD at 10am on the same day,” she said on her Twitter post today.

Kuala Lumpur Police chief Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim said the case was investigated by Muar IPD, Johor.

“The investigation officer had made the appointment with Suhana and farhan to record their statements.

“The case is investigated under Section 500 of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communication and Multimedia Act,” he said when contacted today.

On Oct 17, a talk by Muda was interrupted with provocation by a group of men clad in black in Muar, Johor.

The two video clips with a 1 minute 31 second and 45 second respectively showed a group of men on motorcycles interupting the talk.

However the situation was controlled after the arrival of the police.

Muda president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman had said he forgave the group as they were not his enemy.
