Aidie Amin Yatim, representing the bride's family said the 11am incident took place during the solemnisation ceremony of her sister-in-law Nurul Nadia Atiqah Abd Rahman, 26 and Muhammad Khairul Nizam Md Zaid, 26.

"The unexpected incident caused everyone present to be anxious and the ceremony was postponed by half an hour because we had to find a replacement.

Aidie further said the officiant had high blood pressure.

"The officiant known as Ayoh Ngoh Suf has officiate many weddings and that he is unique because he does not deliver the nikah khutba solely from reading through the text.
