The accident took place around 9am causing a massive traffic jam of five kilometers long.

"Rembau District Deputy Superintendent Police Chief Hazri Mohamad said preliminary investigations found that the accident occured after the lorry lost control then skidded and hit the road divider on the left.

"It caused the lorry to overturn and the eggs to scatter on the road.

"The lorry driver, a 30-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and was sent for further treatment at Hospital Rembau," he told Sinar.

According to him, the traffic jam from the northern direction lasted for about two hours as the roads needed to be cleaned.
