SHAH ALAM - Pas President Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang claims that the newly formed government is "big-headed" and it is not a unity government.

Through a Facebook post today, Abdul Hadi said the true concept of a unity government was one without an opposition or an opposition which was too small and weak.

"If the opposition is very big, it becomes a "big-headed" government and not a unity government.

"If the head is too big, bigger than the body, then the possibility of falling is easier," he said in a post under his Minda Presiden column.

Explaining in detail on the concept of unity, the Marang MP said it was to be united on similarities and tolerate the differences with boundaries.

He added that if these characteristics were not there, then it should not be called unity.

In fact, he said, Islam rejects uniting and cooperating with illegal groups.

"The group here means for example a group of robbers who take others' properties by force and openly, which is also called extortion and so on.

"Similarly, it is prohibited to unite with a group of thieves who take others' properties secretly without knowledge and permission of the owner.

"Then, a group of deceivers who collect wealth by seducing or lying," he said.
