Rafizi slams Pas, suggests party not to get too conceited over Selangor

SHAH ALAM - The Selangor State Election Convention at the Ideal Convention Centre (IDCC), here, becomes a field for PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli to slam Pas which he classifies as conceited.

The Economy Minister said Pas felt great due to the green wave currently ‘spreading’, which they believed would lead them to be able to take over Selangor from the state’s Pakatan Harapan (PH) government.

He said Pas could not take over the state in the upcoming election because Selangor PH had an effective formula to maintain their administration.

“Perikatan Nasional (PN) wants to enjoy themselves, leave it, let them enjoy it these two or three months.

“My view is that we will defend Selangor comfortably, InsyaAllah, we will surprise everyone, especially the Pas gang.

“We know how Pas is like, when we look at their social media, their confidence is high, it’s like they took down France in football, their strength and skills in certain social media were as if they could take over Malaysia,” he said in front of hundreds of Selangor Branch Representatives, here, on Saturday.

He reminded the Selangor branch representatives not to take heed of Pas’s excitement towards the green wave ‘now heading’ to Selangor.

“My friends, we have to remember the green wave in the north is not worrisome, I want to give my personal opinion that InsyaAllah, we’ll defend Selangor in style.

“We will surprise PN because we know how to overcome the people’s anger and how to defend Selangor,” he said.

In the 15th General Election (GE15), Pas had a major victory clean sweeping Kelantan and Terengganu and several north areas.
