First Go-Kart charity event in UiTM Shah Alam celebrates orphans and single mothers
SYDI ALIFThe final year project was conducted by PRecise Agency, Public Relations final year students of the School of Communication and Media, College of Computing, Informatics and Media, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), led by Zizie Zulieyana Zainuddin, under the guidance of Abuzar Abdul Halim.
Formula Kids included human sized board games and over 30 local vendors of food, drinks, thrifts and local brands besides the main attraction itself, the Go-Kart rides. Granting the children their first glimpse of Go-Kart ride, it also aimed to inspire their generation to explore the automotive industry with the activities provided.
With the smiles arising from the kids of Persatuan Rumah Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim dan Ibu Tunggal (Hajah Kamariah), it left fascinating scenes to everyone as this CSR event brought in impactful insights. Edaran Otomobil Nasional (EON) chief operating officer (CEO) Shamsul Haq Md Noh said, “Driven by passion followed by working in this industry, my childhood wish of riding Go Kart has been fulfilled through the Formula Kids event.”
Besides captivating the spark towards the children and single moms excitement, the event had also organised a donation fund especially for the kids who are passionate in sports. The project was facilitated by two main companies; PRecise Agency’s main collaborator sponsorship, the EON which was represented by Shamsul Haq Md Noh, and the strategic partner for Formula Kids, The Jay Events & Media founded by Muhammad Shafik Ridzuan Jailani.
Putting this meaningful project together, PRecise Agency were able to uplift their communication skills with making connections and boosting their visual creativity.
