Chef Wan’s mother passes away at 93
SHAH ALAM - The mother of famed celebrity Chef Wan passed away at 6.20am this morning.
Chef Wan, whose real name is Datuk Redzuan Ismail, shared the sad news of her passing through his Instagram today.
Noraini Abdullah, fondly known as Cik Ani, was 93 years old.
“With great sadness, my dearest mom passed away at 6.20am peacefully in her sleep at Gleneagles Hospital this morning. May her soul rest in peace,” the post read.
The body would be brought to Putajaya Mosque for the final rites and would be laid to rest at Cyberjaya 10 Muslim Cemetery.
He also thanked everyone for the condolences wishes and prayers for his late mother.
Cik Ani was warded almost two weeks ago at the hospital due to cancer and several other health complications.
In his previous post, Chef Wan stated that his mother was undergoing treatment and had constantly updated about his mother’s health conditions.
