KUALA LUMPUR - Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan encourages the party to revise its Malay agenda for the future of the race and nation.

The statement was among the leniencies suggested during his official speech at the 2022 Umno General Assembly at Merdeka Hall, World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL), yesterday.

“My main focus is to make Umno the real voice to the Malays and all people of this country.

“Though fighting for Malay rights, it should not be done by ignoring other races in whatever form,” he said.

Mohamad during his opening speech, also mentioned ‘The Malay Renaissance’ and that the move would be taken for the Malays to be more competent and on par with others.

Hence, he further said Umno would provide new offers to the Malay and Malaysians by revising the Malay agenda.

“Our responsibility after this is to gain the trust of all Umno supporters and Malays for them to share this leniency.

“What’s not there will be improved.

“What’s left will be completed and what’s fuzzy will be cleared,” he said.

Furthermore, he added, there was no reason for Umno supporters and Malaysians to reject this new notion.

“A call to goodness is a call that we must develop together,” Mohamad Hasan contended.
