MPC recognises 10,000 individuals as 'productivity champion'

KUALA LUMPUR - The Malaysia Productivity Corp (MPC) has recognised 10,000 individuals as "productivity champions” due to their contributions in enhancing the country’s productivity and competitiveness.

This year, the Productivity Champion programme saw record participation from carmaker Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (PERODUA) with 683 of its staff receiving recognition as "productivity champion” for projects implemented by the company to increase its revenue, MPC said in a statement.

MPC director-general Datuk Abdul Latif Abu Seman said the Productivity Champion programme aims to create a sustainable productive community and inculcate a productive mind among the people.

For 2023, the programme aims to get support from international organisations and the media, both local and foreign, as it strives to drive productivity and competitiveness in the country.
