Apologise for the delay, Loke tells Malindo Air
SHAH ALAM - Transport Minister Anthony Loke has instructed Malindo Air to reach out to all passengers who were stranded at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Friday night after their flight to Kuching was delayed for more than eight hours.
Loke was responding to a complaint from twitter handler Mohd Firdaus Jailan.
"Greetings brother Firdaus, I have contacted the management @malindoair..they will contact all affected passengers to apologise and take responsibility," he said.
On Friday, Firdaus through his twitter account urged Loke to take an immediate action on Malindo Air management for the delay.
"YB @anthonyloke please do something to Malaysia's airline operator. @malindoair don't even have the guts to inform customers or send a blanket or neck pillow at least. Delayed from 11am to 6am in a cold airport like this? Please be nice.
"It's cold from 10pm until 6.30am without any notice from the staff @malindoair? Is there no one working?," Firdaus further tweeted.
The 1.53 minute video has since then gone viral with Loke responding to the delay.
