SHAH ALAM - The Federal Territories Ministry will now be known as the Federal Territories Department.

In a Facebook post, Chief Secretary Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali informed the public that the administration of the department is now under the Prime Minister's Department (JPM).

"This morning (Thursday) I had the opportunity to attend a briefing session by the Federal Territories Department and Agencies along with the Prime Minister.

"The briefing was delivered by the Federal Territories Department Director-General Datuk Seri Rosida Jaafar regarding the latest administrative restructuring of the Federal Territories Department.

"The department was previously a ministry, it has now been restructured again, so currently the administration is under JPM," he said in the post.

" The briefing was attended by JPM Deputy Secretary-General Datuk Solehuddin Alyubi; Kuala Lumpur Mayor Datuk Seri Mahadi Che Ngah, Putrajaya Corporation President Datuk Fadlun Mak Ujud and Labuan Corporation Chief Executive Director Rithuan Mohd Ismail," he said.
