Covid-19: 721 new cases, two deaths recorded

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia records 721 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, with three imported cases.

Data by the Health Ministry on the KKMNow portal, showed that there two deaths but no deaths outside of hospital facilities or brought-in-dead (BID).

The two cases brought the new death total in the country to 36,808 cases.

The active Covid-19 cases recorded was 15,541 cases with 14,812 or 95.3 per cent undergoing home quarantine.

685 patients were placed in hospitals and 44 were placed in the intensive care unit (ICU), with 23 requiring ventilator support.
